Piazza Pet of the Week

As part of the Piazza Auto Group, Piazza Acura of Ardmore sponsors the Piazza Pet of the Week. The PSPCA will bring an adoptable cat or dog to the studio of WPHT-AM every week. The morning show, which is hosted by Chris Stigall, introduces a lovable pet to their listeners.

The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania! Everyone is encouraged to get involved and help save lives - Adopt, Foster, Donate, or Volunteer!

Check out Holly in the video below. Pepper, Diva, Carol, and Thistle are available for adoption as well.

 Holly
Holly is a 10 year old lovable huggable Pittie Mix. She is part of the PSPCA's Senior Prom promotion. She is a big, beautiful, and loving dog. Her favorite things to do include going for a walk, snuggling, and playing with her toys. Holly loves being around people! She is house broken and crate trained. Holly is a mellow girl and almost nothing scares her. She is just waiting on her forever family!!

 Carol
Carol is a lovely energetic and athletic dog. Carol is a 4 year old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix. She was rescued by Humane Law Enforcement and now ready to find her forever home. Carol is learning some commands including sit and stay. The PSPCA staff says that she is a quick study. Carol would benefit from a home with a fenced yard where she can run around and play. She gets a little wiggly and jumpy when she meets new people but Carol is the best dog! She would be your best friend and she cannot wait to meet you!

 Thistle
Thistle came to the PSPCA through Humane Law Enforcement. He is a sweet and lovable 6.5 year old Pit Bull mix. Thistle loves to be pet and play with his toys. He appears to be housebroken and comes when called. Many volunteers love him because of his easy going personality. Thistle also enjoys training time and loves treats!

 Hunter and Harley - Adopted!!
Hunter and Harley are brother and sister. These two are Labrador Retriever/hound mixes and 100% adorable! They are social and gentle and curious puppies. They could fit into any home! Hunter and Harley would love to find their forever home! Puppy hood is the best time to introduce a puppy or puppies to a home with children. Come meet them today!

 Greyson - Adopted!!
Greyson is an 8 month old blue Pittie Mix. He came to the PSPCA after being pulled from the city shelter. Greyson's former owners decided they couldn't care for him anymore. He is so lovable and gentle and can go into a home with children and other dogs! He is house and crate trained, but very active as puppies are!

 Arrow - Adopted!!
Arrow is a 2 year old Pittie Mix. He came to the PSPCA as part of the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs. Arrow was pulled from the city shelter in a very skinny state. He is fully recovered and ready to find his forever family! Arrow is the wiggliest of all dogs and he hasn't met a person he doesn't like! Come meet him today!

 Diva
Diva is this happy beautiful soul. She is an adult female Pit Bull who was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team. Diva wasn't in the best shape when she arrived at our shelter, but she is recovering well and showing off her great personality. Diva loves people and likes to say hi to everyone. She cannot wait to find her forever family!

 Pepper
Pepper is a 4 year old Pit Bull mix. Pepper is a celebrity around the shelter. Everyone loves her. She is up for almost anything - a walk in the park, a car ride, or some snuggles. She makes the perfect passenger. Pepper does not like to hang out with other dogs. Other than that she is a dream pet! Come meet her today!

 Iris - Adopted!!
Iris is a 4 year old female Pittie Mix. She was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement offices in 2014. Sadly, she has never been adopted. Iris is energetic and very sweet. She likes to go on pack walks with her canine friends. Iris should be the only pet in the house when she goes home. She isn't a fan of cats, but can get a long well with other dogs who are leashed. Iris is a staff favorite and they are anxious to see her find a great home!
