Piazza Pet of the Week

As part of the Piazza Auto Group, Piazza Acura of Ardmore sponsors the Piazza Pet of the Week. The PSPCA will bring an adoptable cat or dog to the studio of WPHT-AM every week. The morning show, which is hosted by Chris Stigall, introduces a lovable pet to their listeners.

The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania! Everyone is encouraged to get involved and help save lives - Adopt, Foster, Donate, or Volunteer!

Check out Arrow in the video below. Pepper, Cocoa, Diva, and Iris are available for adoption as well.

Arrow is a 2 year old Pittie Mix. He came to the PSPCA as part of the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs. Arrow was pulled from the city shelter in a very skinny state. He is fully recovered and ready to find his forever family! Arrow is the wiggliest of all dogs and he hasn't met a person he doesn't like! Come meet him today!
Cocoa is a 7 year old Pittie Mix. She loves belly rubs, long walks, and playing with her tennis balls. Cocoa did live with a family for a few years, and was brought back to the shelter when they moved away. Cocoa is a bit dog selective - sometimes she likes them a lot and other times not so much. Cocoa would best fit in an adult household because she still needs work with guarding her food and her toys.
Diva is this happy beautiful soul. She is an adult female Pit Bull who was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team. Diva wasn't in the best shape when she arrived at our shelter, but she is recovering well and showing off her great personality. Diva loves people and likes to say hi to everyone. She cannot wait to find her forever family!
 Remmy - Adopted!!
Remmy is a two year old Pittie Mix. She was found as a stray and brought to the PSPCA. Remmy was roaming the neighborhood where she was found and being terrorized by local children. Remmy is the sweetest! She can be a little shy in the beginning, but warms up right away. She is looking for a home where she can give you all her love!
 Quicksilver - Adopted!!
Quicksilver is the sweetest and most calm 2 year old hound mix. He is incredibly gentle and loves to cuddle up to his people! Quicksilver knows many commands and he takes treats very gently. He will make the best addition to any lucky family. He also knows many tricks including sit, shake and down. The PSPCA believes he is house-trained, but may need a reminder.
 Butters - Adopted!!
Butters is a 7 year old Pittie Mix. Butters is very sweet and social and always has a smile on his face! Butters loves to play and he can get a little bit too excited. He would best fit in a home with tweens and up. Butters' former family adopted him from the PSPCA in 2011 and sadly moved away and could not take him along. Come say hi to this happy guy!
 Nova - Adopted!!
Nova is a senior 10 year old cat. She has a beautiful short-haired gray coat and is looking for her forever family. Nova loves to be pet and hang out with her family. She was brought to the PSPCA in December 2016 through the humane law enforcement department. Nova, along with all other cats, will be $25 off adoption fees Feb 4th and 5th during the Kitten Bowl. The fourth annual Kitten Bowl is this Super Bowl weekend!
 Skylar - Adopted!!
Skylar is a 1 year old Pittie mix. She was abandoned at the PSCPA and is ready to find her forever family! Skylar is energetic and playful, and like most puppies needs some training. She loves to cuddle and play fetch! Skylar would love to meet you to see if you are the perfect fit! Come meet her at the PSPCA today!
Pepper is a 4 year old Pit Bull mix. Pepper is a celebrity around the shelter. Everyone loves her. She is up for almost anything - a walk in the park, a car ride, or some snuggles. She makes the perfect passenger. Pepper does not like to hang out with other dogs. Other than that she is a dream pet! Come meet her today!
Iris is a 4 year old female Pittie Mix. She was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement offices in 2014. Sadly, she has never been adopted. Iris is energetic and very sweet. She likes to go on pack walks with her canine friends. Iris should be the only pet in the house when she goes home. She isn't a fan of cats, but can get a long well with other dogs who are leashed. Iris is a staff favorite and they are anxious to see her find a great home!

Iris is part of the Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee will be waived between Feb 12-18, 2017 at the PSPCA Fishtown Center.
